Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the Irish whiskey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. This will be the glaze for the salmon.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the glaze over the salmon, making sure to coat all sides. Allow the salmon to marinate in the glaze for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. For more intense flavor, you can marinate it for up to 24 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. If using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
