  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 24-30 ladyfinger cookies (savoiardi)

Instructions:

  • Assemble Tiramisu: Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not overly saturated. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×9 inch square dish or a similar-sized serving dish.
  • Layer Mascarpone Mixture: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the layer of soaked ladyfingers. Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  • Chill: Cover the assembled tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
