IRISH CREAM LIQUEUR

Description: This homemade Irish Cream Liqueur recipe combines the richness of cream with the smoothness of Irish whiskey, sweetened with chocolate and coffee flavors.

Serving Size: Makes about 3 cups


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 2/3 cups Irish whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)


Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, Irish whiskey, chocolate syrup or cocoa powder, instant coffee granules, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using).
  2. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or flavor by adding more chocolate syrup, coffee, or whiskey according to your preference.
  4. Once mixed, pour the Irish Cream Liqueur into a clean, airtight bottle or container.
  5. Refrigerate the liqueur and shake well before using. It will keep for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Serve the Irish Cream Liqueur over ice, add it to coffee or hot chocolate, or use it as an ingredient in cocktails or desserts. Enjoy responsibly!
