IRISH COFFEE BROWNIES

Description: Rich and fudgy brownies infused with the flavors of Irish coffee. The combination of chocolate, coffee, and whiskey creates a delightful treat.

Serving size: Size: 9-12 brownies

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Allow it to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, Irish whiskey, and brewed coffee.
  4. Add the melted butter to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into squares.
  9. Optional: Dust the brownies with powdered sugar for decoration.
