Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
- ½ lb (225g) ground beef or lamb
- ¼ cup mashed potatoes
- 2 tbsp peas (fresh or frozen)
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 large flour tortilla
- ¼ small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the Meat: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add butter or oil, and sauté the onion and garlic until soft. Add the ground beef or lamb, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned, then stir in the peas. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Quesadilla: Spread mashed potatoes over half of the tortilla. Evenly distribute the cooked meat mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Fold the tortilla in half to create a semicircle.
- Cook the Quesadilla: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the folded quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove from heat, let cool for a minute, then slice into wedges and enjoy!
Serving Suggestion – Pair with a side of sour cream or a light gravy for dipping.
