IRISH CREAM CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

Description: A decadent and creamy dessert combining the richness of chocolate with the smoothness of Irish cream liqueur. It’s perfect for special occasions or as a sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt the chopped chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Stir in the Irish cream liqueur until well combined. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Divide the mousse among individual serving dishes or glasses.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours until set.
  7. Before serving, you can garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired.
