Ingredients:
For the Pastry:
- 300g plain flour
- 150g cold butter, diced
- 1 egg yolk

- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 150ml beef stock
- 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
Instructions:
1. Make the Pastry:
โข In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the diced butter and rub it into the flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
โข Add the egg yolk and enough cold water to bring the dough together. Shape into a ball, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Filling:
โข Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced beef and cook until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
โข In the same pan, add the onion, carrot, and potato. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
โข Stir in the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, pepper, and salt. Add the tomato paste and mix well.
