Ingredients:
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 green onions, chopped

Instructions:
- Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- While the potatoes are cooking, heat the milk and butter in a small saucepan over low heat until the butter has melted.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork until they are smooth and free of lumps.
